The poet, Ahunna Ejiogu in this melancholic poem depicting the two classes of women in Nigeria (Hardworking Women and Runs Women); acknowledges the obnoxious relevance of the Runs Women and how they take the lion share from the society ruled by men; thereby negating the values of Handwork vis-a-vis rendering the Hardworking Women as inferior.
Excerpts:

JANE AND JUNE

Jane a dunce
fiery as goddess
mermaid sculptured
shakes her jacksy
in jabs of cash
pummels men’s pockets
to petty purgatory

June O’June
breezy as early June
bold as late June
brains of goldmine
value heavier
than barrage of
countless sand

our young girls
wane off vanity
dry as fast as rose
our vain men
blossom youthfully
suckling nectars
of our budding girls

money coughs
Jane sneezes
June catches a cold
takes medication
from a bad sneeze
that stalled
the rise of June
